mrstxcop's hubby's staph infection was from washing the car barefoot. IIRC, the doc said he must have had a small cut and didn't realize it, and that's how he contracted it. My daughter's teacher's mom got her staph infection from a pedicure. Same(ish) scenario, small cut in the foot allowed the bad stuff to get into her body.

Absolutely amazing what a tiny cut can allow into the body.

It is one of those you can get it done and walk right out and noone knows it is a "fresh" job.

Imagin this you come in lay on a massage table Starting off with a facial steam Scalp massage The foot wraped in steamed hot towels hot oil massage nail care sugar srubb more warm relaxing towls foot and calve massage no cross contamination of any kind no one elses feet have been in the same bowl as yours it cuts out any chance of infections and its a going green concept because you are saving water! Then at the end of the pedicure while your feet are drying you will recieve another scalp massgae how can that not be better?
