From NEISD.NET

As a precautionary measure, Johnson, Tejeda, Encino Park, Roan Forest and Bulverde Creek are currently in lockdown.
A shooting has been reported at a business near Bulverde Rd and Evans, and a suspect is at-large.
If you are on route to Johnson, please hold drop-off until lockdown is over. The lockdown will be canceled by the North East Police when the area is safe.

Anyone have further developments on this?

Radio news is saying that the female shooter and the female victim are two sides of a love triangle. The schools remain locked down as a precaution.

If you click on the WOAI link Bowie posted, they will have the latest update on the story. The woman shooting was apprehended on the South Side after 10am.

Just to be clear...this was NOT a shooting at a SCHOOL!!! The lock down was enforced because the perpetrator had not been caught and was a precaution to protect any students. Thankfully SAPD were quick in responding to this situation.

Love gone awry. New girlfriend shot and killed ex-girlfriend. I'm willing to bet that boyfriend kept going back to the ex for "visits" and, instead of dealing with him, decided to get rid of what she considered to be the problem. Stupid.

We live RIGHT by this place. It sounded like the helicopter was going to land in our yard. It still has me a little shaken. There were police cars everywhere. I feel so bad for all those at the vet clinic. They are all in my thoughts....I can't imagine what they are all going through.
I had a friend who called me to make sure I was okay, she didn't know what was going on but was trying to take her son to school and was stuck on Bulverde Road. It was nice to see that the Lockdown went into effect so quickly.

WOAI says it was the other way around - the wife shot the husband's girlfriend.
