I visited Chunky's and enjoyed their regular burger. John Goedecke was with us and accepted the 4 Horseman challenge. He ate it in 4 minutes, establishing a new record time. John says that some of his taste buds have yet to recover.

I will have to check out that Flying Saucer place. That sounds interesting.
How many different types of beer could they possibly have there?
I know that every once in a while at Las Palapas, they have a contest to see how many "East L.A. Burritos" that you can eat in ten minutes.

At the flying saucer last time I checked they had 190 bottles and 70 on tap.
Some bottles and tap are the same but still... omg to have that many different types of beer!!! wOOt!!!

Try chacho's monster king kong nachos!!!!

Had the 4 Horseman and it is not hot, but rather painful. It was like someone was searing my tongue with an iron while I was drinking boiling hot water for 10 or 15 minutes. My throat started to close and it was difficult to breath. Then it was like a mule kicked me in the stomach for another 30 minutes. 45 minutes to 1 hour of misery. BTW, I only ate a 1/4th of the burger that someone brought to the office as leftovers. Glad I saved my $ on a whole one.

For reference, I regularly eat habaneros and scotch bonnets. I order my food as spicy as it can be made at every Thai & Indian place I go. I love heat, but i'm done with ghost chilis.

I know this is an old thread but we are getting a group together to take "food challenges" in SA and surrounding areas. We have also planned a few in Austin as well. Aside from the Chunky's burger have any new ones come up? Getting a list together and anyone who wants to join us please feel free to DM me. We are working with restaurants and will give plenty of advance notice for events.

The Flying Saucer looks like a great place, I saw it on that show "San Antonio Living". I saw some nice German beer.
I don't the the police here are feeeling the Flying Saucer is so great and the beers there so nice as that place has been investigated after a couple of drunk drivers came out of there and did really serious stuff to the cops.
