Ok, just a little info. My husband and I are moving to San Antonio at the end of March. I'm going to be working at Santa Rosa Children's Hospital and he will be going to UTSA come the fall. Any help would be greatly appreciated on housing. We would like something no more than a 20-30 minute drive from my work in a safe neighborhood for $125,00-130,000. I know to stay away from Lackland, not a safe area. Any other help would be greatly appreciated!

There are a lot of homes for that price range in SA. North Central, NE, around the Airport, 78247 zip, 78216, just type in any realtor site and start searching. I would try to get close to UTSA, the NW area, and not worry about the downtown area myself. That way, you have a better home life, my opinion. 78249 zipcode should do the trick for you.

Please take a look at the relocation sticky at the top of the page. I'm confident that it'll help you out. Good luck.
