Hi All,
I need some assistance, I am a prospective UTSA graduate student for 2009 regarding housing that is quiet, furnished, close to UTSA, utilities included. Anything that I need to know about UTSA and San Antonio. Thanks

do you need credit history to rent the apartment? in case you need, what can you do about it if you are an international student?

I have read these threads:

$1500 per month, is it enough? ( UTSA Grad Student )
Best apartment for UTSA Grad students
A note from a new UTSA student

and really didn't find any useful information apart from the one already available through apartmentratings.com and the like.

thanks!

Well, honestly, why would you ask people who are just sitting around in their skivvies scratching themselves? Call an apartment complex and ask the people who can tell you what the situation would look like for an international student with no credit history. Seriously, what were you expecting on here?

Best bet would be to look into student housing on-campus. Furnished apartments off-campus are not common (not impossible to find--just not common). I really think the best way to approach this is to contact UTSA's Housing Office. They can give you way more info on finding housing if you are wanting to be off-campus, but need it to be furnished.

Good Luck!
Liz
