Does anyone get ESPN News in HD? Mine always says not authorized. Do you have to pay extra on top of the HD tier?

If it says not authorized, then it probably is a pay channel.

sorry...I take back what I said about Spike tv. the problem was on my end, I had to call time warner because all my channels from 24 on up were now gone. and since I had them on the line, I asked about that on demand problem I was having, so they re-booted the box, and now all my on demand channels work

someone earlier said they were having problems, with on demand, you should get them to re boot your box. I even see those channels from 82-91 now.

On a related note, Jeanne Jakle's column today (not yet posted online at MySA) says that the 4% of Time-Warner's subscribers who have HBO and no digital cable will now need a digital converter box to continue their subscriptions to HBO.

I'm amazed it's that high a percentage. I tried to get T-W to let me have HBO without digital cable when we moved here in '02 and they told me they weren't letting new customers subscribe that way anymore.
