This isn't surprising at all considering rumors that surfaced over a year ago. I bet $20 they locate outside 410... $10 it's outside 1604.

AT&T is still leasing that building and will for the foreseeable future. Though there is other downtown properties they own.

today's Express-News article (http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/An_icon_of_Corpus_heading_for_SA.html - broken link) contained a wonderfully ironic reason that Whataburger chose to move to SA.

Gaining a regional QSR chain still doesn't make up for losing the largest global telecommunications company
. At least in the end AT&T and Whataburger are still based in Texas
