My husband works for Broadway Bank, a local San Antonio bank that has been around for over 60 years. They have never engaged in sub-prime lending and other practices that have led to the latest economic debacle. They have been expanding, having added several branches between San Antonio and Austin within the past year, and another slated to open soon.
They were looking for a Marketing Manager at one of the branches, but not sure if that position has already been filled.
Here is a link to their website: Welcome to Broadway Bank
Hope this helps!

Frost Bank is another great bank in town you may want to check out. Never involved in sub-prime lending, didn't take any tarp money from the government, just a great business!

Also, one thing about San Antonio that my sister and I learned when we first moved here...alot of hiring is done by word of mouth and who you know. Making connections is huge in this town. You guys may want to consider taking any job to get here, then once here spend time networking to get into the company he really wants. This is more true with the local companies and law firms...but something to consider. Good luck!
