RodLu, unfortunately I think alot of it is society in general. Just no manners and it's all about them. Sadly it's what they are teaching their children.

Mine is someone says excuse me but I can't move because I asked the person in front of me excuse me and they still aren't moving yet. grrr..it's a chain reaction.

That happens because of the pervasive sense of entitlement that is ingrained in the culture.

I used to get irritated by it. I really don't give a gnat's butt anymore. I still hold the door for people, women and men but that's because it's something I was taught to do as a young boy and it's burned into my brain LOL. Really not a bad thing, though. My life got better when I realized that it doesn't change anything in my life if people are impolite.

Worse than that....
when somebody is right in the way, you say "excuse me" and then answer with a mean "Excuse me!!!".
And I'm left thinking: "Why in the hell did I say excuse me in a nice way?"

I no longer get offended by idiots. I get entertained.

Since they're everywhere, they might as well lighten the mood rather than ruin it.
