My boyfriend and I are relocating to San Antonio (Lackland AFB) from the Tampa Bay area in June.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a gym, martial arts place or anything that offers fitness kickboxing. I am very active in it right now and don't want to give it up when I move.

I am also looking for a hair salon. I'm 20 years old, so something not too old We are looking to move into the 78251 area, so something relatively close to that would be preferred, but I am willing to travel up to like 20-25 minutes if someone has a really high recommendation.

And my final question...We eat mostly all organic and so I am wondering where most people grocery shop for all natural and organic foods (especially meats and produce). Are there any "saturday markets" that sell locally grown food??

Thanks so much for all of your help!!!

Hi, we're new to the area as well. There are quite a few gyms on the NW side. Depending on where you live, it could be up to 20-30 minutes to drive. I go to Lifetime Fitness, which is a 16 mile drive for me. But there's also Gold's gyms, YMCA, Bally's and Spectrum Gyms. I have not seen a boxing gym, but I found this website Texas Boxing Gyms

For natural foods...the one thing I have been disappointed with are organic choices. But there is a Central Market and a Whole Foods to the east. Someone told me about Sun Harvest, but I have not yet tried it. So you may just have to be creative with Target and HEB, and Wal Mart for the quick things, and then stock up when you can get over to Whole Foods.

Farmer's Markets: someone posted a link to all the areas FM's. Maybe they will come back with the link.
Good luck!!
