It says that you have to get there by 8am to get your tickets, and he may not sign after the first 500 people - I wonder if he will have his back turned the whole time? UGH Maynard is such a diva!!!

Haha, I could totally see him rolling his eyes AND forcing smiles with each hello.

All before adding a genuine thanks, of course.

I've been to two signings here in SA, Kinky Friedman and Tom Clancy. Both of them were very appreciative of the people that came out to see them. I say screw anyone that doesn't appreciate the people that literally pay their salaries.

Yeah, he is not on the positive side of normal.

I've seen their live show numerous times, and he is always dressed completely different, with varying amounts of something on his face. Yet the most memorable thing he has done or said was the last time I saw them in 2006: It was the first show of the 10,000 Days tour/album, at Coachella Festival in California. He wore a cowboy hat, jeans, and boots. Huge belt buckle. By far the most normal I've ever seen him on stage. Anyways, they performed on the Sunday of the week the album was released, and he made mention of how they were going to "play a brand new song now, even though all of you f***ers have already downloaded the album and heard it already". You could tell he wasn't happy, but he managed to have that tone of "oh well" in his voice, enough so that the crown laughed and they continued to rock out as expected.

As long Tool keeps making music and putting out albums, I'll put up with him!
