Some people actually blame the little girl.
that's crazy! that story got my blood boiling when I saw it on the 9:00 news last night. There is so much evil out there and it continues to get worse. I hope there is a way for those three to suffer for a long time.

seriously, what is nice about this weather? It is killing all the grass and making the city look even worse than it usually does. and 99% of us can't last more than a minute or two out in it.

Well, obviously I'm not out running a marathon in this weather, but the heat makes me happy and I feel alllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive! I love to wear shorts and t-shirts, and sandals. Good things are never cancelled due to the heat. The heat doesn't make the roads dangerous. The heat doesn't cause my nose to run and boogers to freeze on my face.

About the only bad thing is the frizzies in my hair, but I've been dealing with that all my life and at 44 I've found my "give-a-damn" is almost completely busted.

I was just outside for about 10 minutes killing wasps and checking under the hood of my truck and I broke out in a sweat just from the insanely hot sun beating down on me. That is just dumb.. I wore shorts and t-shirts 24/7-365 in San Diego and Monterey when I wasn't in uniform. THAT is what nice summer weather should be, especially Monterey. Clouds, fog, a nice chill in the air. You can actually go outside all freaking day long and not smell like a sweaty pig after only 30 minutes.

I don't stink.

Also, I will agree with you about California coastal weather being some of the finest anywhere. However, I've decided that I need both my kidneys, the liver, heart, and other major organs I would need to sell in order to rent a box to live in there. I don't even want to sell an ovary, or rent out my uterus. They're MINE.

I was hoping this economy would even things out, but nope. Everyone still wants to live there.

In the meantime, I'll send my life savings to CPS.

It does mine. I like it when it's real cold so the boogers freeze.

Anyways, that was a funny post. Congrats, made me laugh today. Now time to prepare for the long drive home.....to the valley! Argh, the humidity is x10 worse there!!!

Wow.

Sonny and Cher's child transitioning from female to male - CNN.com

I lived for the Sonny and Cher show as a child. I LOVED when they brought Chastity out at the end. I hope she'll be happy as Chaz.
