Awww, I kinda like him. Did you know or even care that he had 55 number 1 singles? LOL I googled him while the song was on.....I thought he may still be alive but nope. I also thought he was a drinker, but nope again. He never drank or did drugs.

Michael Jackson was a big star, but I just learned that Garth Brooks was the best-selling musician of the 20th century. Not only did he sell more than Jackson, but the Beatles!* I remember the day he "quit" from the music scene one of the reasons was because he accomplished all his goals that he had set out to do...and he had nothing more to do**

*Rolling Stone Magazine (2009)
**I suppose the only other thing he had to do was marry Trisha Yearwood.

I saw Garth at Texas Stadium, circa 1992.......the show was amazing! Even with sweat in my eyes, 'cuz man that place was H-O-T!! The tickets for that one-night show sold out in like 4 minutes or something extremely crazy, and Garth ended up playing for 4 nights, I believe. My tickets were bought, finally, for the "final" show, but it ended up being the first night (on a Thursday). Great concert.

LOS ANGELES -- Gale Storm, whose wholesome appearance and perky personality made her one of early television's biggest stars on "My Little Margie" and "The Gale Storm Show," has died at age 87.
Storm, who had been in failing health in recent years, died Saturday at a convalescent hospital in Danville, said her son, Peter Bonnell.

I guess this dates me, but I loved this woman. She had a big hit on tv back in the early 50's. This makes 2. Who is 3?

crazy question...
Is Hwy 281 South from the airport into downtown (Hildebrand) a stop-light road or a freeway-style? Trying to figure out if it'll really take only 15 minutes like google maps says! I never travel through there on 281...
