Glad you had fun at the Bullet Hole, RD. You think MajorMadMax will lend me his Baretta anti-tank killer .50 cal? Gotta practice knocking out those tanks, ya know..

Btw, had my endoscopy today to check on that heartburn....well...what do you know...I get heartburn from that stupid scope. At least test came out clean. We still can't pinpoint where the burn is coming from*. Arrghhh!

* Me thinks the burn is from a taco I ate in Tijuana, Mexico about 10 years ago....

yes, my new pistol is very accurate and so am I

there's that movie last house on the left and then there's my house, last house you want to hit.. my wife is actually letting me leave it with a round chambered..

I'm supposed to do that scope thing too, but it doesn't seem like it'll be much fun at all.

DO IT. I've done 3 already. Uneventful. Nothing to it. Just make sure they don't wheel you into the colonoscopy room by mistake...yes..it happened to me, but they didn't get too far...i wasn't knocked out for good yet

that's the other problem. I had sinus surgery once and that's where I learned they can't knock me out at all. It wasn't pleasant at all and I know the scope wouldn't be either while awake.

Some people prefer to be awake and watch the scope on the video screen. The anesthesia really is just to keep you from freaking out. You are really not knocked out...sort of in a "dazed and confused" moment. They still spray a numbing solution into your throat so you can't feel the scope going down. It's really easy. I'd do it everyday if they paid me. In and out procedure, less than 30mins or so.

Now the colonoscopy..that's the one I'm kind of iffy about.

how big is the tube (diameter)? I've had the very small one stuck up my nose and snaked through my sinuses until it came out my throat. That's not fun at all either and one time it almost sent me into shock.

I think this is a pic: http://mcnitt.com/images/endoscopy.jpg (broken link)

They are smaller now, though.

Had many trips to the ER and have done many procedures, including the dreaded motility test (huge tube stuck down your nose to your intestine) from various things like bike accidents, logging and ranch injuries, welding injuries and beaned in the face by a 90mph fastball (don't laugh!). Out of every single procedure I've ever had done, an endoscopy is the most pleasant. It's a non-event. And, if you are passed out from the IV, then you won't even know anything when you wake up.

I'd be more worried about driving on 1604 every day.
