I think one of the best Thanksgiving we ( I ) ever had was the year we actually cooked a full turkey dinner at the campground in small travel trailer. No full hook ups which meant we had to plan every detail and not make a mess. Made everything from scratch. Used as many disposable dishes as we could and a ton of paper towels for clean up. I loved it!!

We have done that a couple of times too. Except I didn't cook the turkey in the oven of my camper (too small). Once we fried the turkey and another time I bought a smoked one.

There's no way anyone could get a turkey in those ity bity ovens that come in the campers! A game hen maybe, at best. I used one of the while oven things ( what ARE those called??!!!)
and cooked it outside. The camp ground smelled soooooo good. All the different smells from all the different kinds of cooking. You could gain weight just waling around. And everyone wants to share!!

Probably around noon and we all cook. Daughter has to work at 2. Just means I can get back to the camp ground that much sooner.
