Boy was I the lucky one today. Went to Wally World and Costco. BOTH times I left my radar detector in plain view, stuck to my windsheild . Dang, I feel stupid
When I left Walmart I said "oh crap, I better get that out at Costco". Then I get BACK in my truck at Costco and there it is .

But I spent over $500 and didn't use one single plastic bag .

Only one , but I will recycle it. You right, I usually have about 5 of them.
I've never taken my own bags to Costco before. It was sure nice not having to carry that one big box in the house that weighs about 80 lbs. I HATE when they do that.

Oops, I lied. I just found a plastic bag. I forgot about the 30-30 and 308 bullets I bought.

I'm still new to this "using my own bag" thing. I usually forget the bags at home or they are in a different vehicle. I'll get it one day

I know! It's hard to remember them but I'm doing pretty good so far. have used them about the last 10 times. HEB gives me the evil eye when I take my blue Walmart bags in. I just tell them if they want to trade them in for their bags OK, if not...they were ( and still are) $.50!

They tell me something every time. I told the last checkout lady, "Maybe if HEB made better quality bags that were cheaper then I wouldnt have so many WALMART ones." The bagger girl says "Yeah ours do suck." LOL

(Those HEB plastic ones with prints of Longhorns, bluebonnets, etc they are pretty crappy and rip easily IMO, but my mother swears by them;shes probably mesmerized by how "pretty" they are.)

I LOVE my Trader Joe's one...it's cloth, cost $2.99 and it's sporty. Lately I've just been using it for my lunch bag, because it's cute and summery, and I like to brag about having one.

Mine are from IKEA. The are big and made out of the same material as those big gray tarps except they are stiffer. They are blue with a flower design on them.
The girl at Walmart today even told me how nice and big they were.
