I love Fry's, but it would never survive here, unless they sold beer.. Too low-tech and non-geek unfortunately.

Yeah, you may be right.

Meet Gigi (and Vicki!) the most recent guide dog raised by my dad. He's 80 (81 in Feb!) so yeah, I'm bragging a little! I just got a copy of the e-mail sent by Vicki to my dad giving him an update on how much she's done for Vicki--she is able to walk for exercise now and has finally met some of her neighbors after living in the same place for years....she's also been able to get on the Metro and get to appointments or shopping with ease. This is really a good time to stop and take note of how much we truly have to be thankful for.

He's got a new dog now....her name is Naja and it's his first black lab--normally he trains yellows. The last pup got kicked out of the program due to a heart murmur, but she's living the good life anyway.

Well, he's used to it by now.....the puppies drive my mom nuts but then when it's time for them to go, she gets misty-eyed, but she knows they are going to an important job.

I'm sure I would tell myself that, but it would be very difficult. I remember having to leave mine for the 5+ months I was in Bosnia. That was very not good.

I'm thinking that otherhalf is trying to make me fat(ER!). He made this southwestern style soup thing from an HEB recipe card tonight. Just raided the fridge for seconds. CRAP! That means I gotta stay up for like 3 more hours now!!!

could be worse.. you could've had to wake up and not drink anything or eat anything and then get to guzzle down a couple bottles of barrium sulfate
This is my third upper GI and by far the most pleasant. It also had the best results ever; absolutely no reflux. I credit Nexium even though the doctor said that alone shouldn't have done it. So I guess the Activia is helping too. All I know is I can now eat pretty much anything with no price to pay later. Cucumbers and a couple other things are exceptions, but still a billion % better than before

Is everyone calling TWC right now or something? I've been trying to contact them and the phone has been busy forever. The ironic part is I'm calling to find out what it's going to cost me to dump them. Not a good day to make me mad for sure..

Glad to hear fast food is back for you!

It didn't cost me a thing to drop TWC for U verse. I kinda felt bad because they couldn't have been nicer about it. All I did was give them a date and they pro rated it for me.
