get an electric doggy door. I guarantee it will be one of the top 5 things you've ever bought. The initial investment is a little steep, but worth it and then some. The dogs love freedom and will always go out to take care of business. Only time they go inside now is when it's seriously pouring and they just can't hold it any more. That's why we always keep some **** pads around.
