When I lived in VA, I used to take my (then) 2 year old to Busch Gardens weekly (if not more often). Now that kiddo is 4 we plan to go to Sea World a lot too. Although Busch Gardens is MUCH better for the younger kids. There just aren't enought rides for little ones at SW. We will probably end up with passes to Fiesta Texas too...just to check it out. What is the opinion of Fiesta Texas? Is it fun for little kiddo's?

Anyway, I had lots of friends in VA who did the EZ pay. They really liked it and never had any problems. Also, I *think* when you have EZ pay, if the cost of the tickets go up...your's don't. I believe your price is locked as long as you keep the same plan.

Regarding the discount question....walking past the McDonalds in Walmart today there was a sticker on the window advertising Sea World coupons. I didn't go in to investigate, but in the past those coupons were pretty valuable...like $8 off or something.

Fiesta Texas has a small kids section, but my son actually prefers SW because of the animals and the shows. I guess it just depends on what your kid likes.

Don't know if you're in the market for a new pet, but we adopted a puppy from ACS and got two free sea world tickets (which we didn't want and won't be using, but they've got our name printed on them so I don't think anyone else can use them). The Animal Defense League was offering the same deal, adopt a pet and get two free sea world tickets.

Of course a puppy is a lot more expensive long-term than a couple of Sea World tickets, so I wouldn't suggest it unless you were already looking for a new pet addition to your family.

This old thread might help: //www.city-data.com/forum/san-a...sea-world.html

I remember it had an unconventional tip involving the parking lot.

is the fun card the same thing as the silver pass thing? i saw that northside education link posted and my jaw dropped when i saw the 60$ per season pass deal. the thing is, i want a season pass for sea world AND aquatica, and that was like 130 each on the seaworld website.

the link is from 2010 and i see no info on their calendar of fundraising events. if you called, ill take it at that and call em later.
