The Lowes on 1604 & Blanco is selling their Texas hardwood mulch for $2/bag this weekend only. While there, also check out their clearance plant sections. There's one in the front and one out in the back next to the rock wall blocks, etc. On one of the metal racks near the rock wall stuff I found Aloe Veras for .50!

Happy gardening! :

Sale started today. Oh - there are also bulbs 1/2 price.

I've bought many a clearance plant at Lowe's that has only needed either to be watered properly or just a little TLC.

Make sure to feel the bags of bulbs to be sure you have the correct number of bulbs in there. When I was at Lowe's off 410 Military, some of the half price bulbs were past their prime, and were just dust. I did find some good ones though. And I always find good deals in their clearance areas. most of those plants just need some tlc.

LOL! I went through the bulbs to make sure they were still alive! The store at Blanco/1604 had them sitting out in the sun. I did find some Peruvian daffodils and some calla lilies that were still good.
