Anaqua Springs, Bently Manor or anywhere on the southside. Southcross at S. Flores to keep it really real.

Hill Country Village or maybe Olmos Park. Although about 1000 acres in the hill country sounds pretty nice as well.

I am surprised by the many mentions of Olmos Park. Not surprised in a bad way, I just didn't realize there was such an interest in the area. It's definitely a pretty drive.

It has a lot going for it. It's extremely safe, 98% of the homes are immaculately maintained, it's close to 410, 10 and 281, it's 90 seconds to HEB and several places to eat, it's close to downtown, it's in AHISD, and the housing stock is varied in size, style and era. It is also completely covered with trees, which makes it feel, if only psychologically and not scientifically, a little cooler in the summer.

Love Terrell Hills, The lots are bigger than AH, and I like the architecture a little more than OP.

Hill Country Village. Nice big treed lots and in a perfect location. (though I would miss that "neighborhood" feel.)

I'd go for a condo on the upper floors of the Grand Hyatt. I think it would be cool to have a spectacular view and the downtown attractions within walking distance.

The best midcentury house that can be found in San Antonio... wherever that is. Maybe Castle Hills? I have no idea where the fancy neighborhoods were back then.

There is an absolutely wonderful thread buried somewhere on the board about MCMs and where to find them in San Antonio. If you searched, it would pop up pretty quickly.

Ah, here it is:

There were a few other ones that popped up when I searched "mid century modern" you might want to go take a look at.
