I'm thinking you might be able to find some "friends" on MySpace to give you some hints. Or there's also the Search button at the top of this screen. Maybe do a search for party. Or rock star.

Late night deep west side or deep east side SA is where you should try.

After hours, maybe. Prior to that, anywhere along that stretch of 1604 between Elmendorf and 10 East is sweet. Always something going on.

Ooh, I forgot about Elmendorf! That area is bumpin'. Baps for you!

This is what I was gonna write when I saw this post the 1st time:

"You want a good answer? give good information
a party doesn't mean the same thing for a freshman in college than for church going family person"

Wow, you're from Jacksonville, eh? I grew up there, and it explains a lot.

It really doesn't take much effort to find out what is going on with San Antonio nightlife...

Our Riverwalk is just like your Riverwalk, except our river is much smaller and it is a lot more interesting and busy. If you are downtown, that is probably your best bet. Lots of bars and restaurants, you should have no problem "partying" there.

Cheers! M2

Nothing is going on man, believe me people don't know what good nightlife is here. I stay away from the clubs, they always end in gun shots or stabbings.

Bologna !! This city is full of professional party people and plenty amateurs!! You should stay away from Clubs that have frequent fights and certainly shootings and stabbings!! Downtown is very safe and the Riverwalk certainly!! Can't recall a stabbing or shooting recently in places frequented by tourists!! There are surely some places notorious for bad behavior!! Avoid them!! If you live here you can have a pretty good party in your own backyard!!
