Boudro is one of the best restaurants in Texas. Its the Sinatra of restarants on the riverwalk.

Sorry I am late on this thread - but I like Bohanan's a lot. More of a steakhouse and quite expensive, but I have always been very pleased with the quality of the food - and the service is unbelievable.

We have eaten at Perico's in Stone Oak area twice and it is superb! Service is outstanding! Also, they have little rooms for small groups and also have free Wi-Fi that might be good if it is a business meeting. The Poco de Mexico is de-lish!!!!!!

The best restaurants on the Riverwalk are the non-chain and non-tex mex places. Non chain because I dislike chains on the Riverwalk and non-Tex mex because all tex mex restaurants along the Riverwalk dumb down their food for tourist, not literally dumb it downbut make it in a touristy way that is just horrible.

Dolores Del Rio is the Riverwalk's best kept secret. Don't let the name fool you, they specialize in Italian. Listen to cool jazz on a nightly basis and let the belly dance entertain you...it reminds me of a cool New Orleans restaurant.

As I was reading through this thread, I was wondering if anyone was going to mention Dolores. The first time I went was about three years ago, and I regretted not knowing about it sooner. It is definitely, at first blush, a hole in the wall kind of place, but it has some very good food, which the rest of the riverwalk simply doesn't seem to have. I think going to any number of places in King William area would be worth the walk/cab fare and the more opportunities for near downtown dining perhaps the more pressure that will be put on riverwalk establishments to pay more attention to their food, but probably wishful thinking.
