First, let me say I am a progressive-liberal Democrat and I voted for Barack Obama. I am 29 years old, Latino, my grandmother, father and myself were all born here in the great United States.

Living right next to me in my apartment building is a family of 6 to 8 illegal aliens (all in ONE apartment). My apartment manager is making money off of them by charging them more money for "all" of them to live there, so he is okay with it because he is profiting from them. I think it's very unfortunate what is going on in Mexico and how difficult it is.

In regards to the 6 to 8 illegal aliens living next to me and more than likely on foodstamps and welfare, ....... does anyone know what I can do to expedite a process of reporting them? I called into to ICE and filed a report, but I think it will fall on deaf ears.

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you know they're illegal? Did your landlord tell you that?

I think you can call the fair housing board and make a complaint about the lax rules (more people living in a one bedroom than is allowed in the lease). I don't remember the name of the board off hand but its always posting in the leasing agreement one signs when leasing an apartment.

I second that question,
Did you check their birth certificates or passports?

Am I illegal for speaking Spanish without an american accent and having a foreign "national ID" in my wallet?

Call the news channels.
My ex in Ocala Fl had this problem and she, and her neighbors wanted to be nice and not report 10 illegals living in one apartment at her complex. Months went by, with them getting drunk and causing small problems, and everyone turned a blind eye until one of the illegals got pissed at another and stabbed him to death and then lighting a fire to cover it up. The fire killed a womans two year old son.

I am sure these people are good people but they are breaking the law and should get deported.

Move in, eat all the food, fart in your sleep, stay up all night listening to Slayer, be rude and be the worst room mate until they get mad and move.

Seriously report the apartment manager to INS or some other government agency. Whether they be illegal or not, slum lords should be hanged.

I'm 100% sure you have to have a SSN or I-TIN to get those. Just FYI for anyone who is going to attack the social service system and giving help to illegal immigrants.

Politely knock on your neighbor's door and ask them to please forgive you if things get a bit noisy this weekend but you've just gotten a job with ICE (or whatever the immigration department is called now) and you are hosting a party for your new co-workers this weekend to celebrate and get to know them a bit better!
