Has anyone done kayaking from the Edge Falls Rd. area? It's near Honey Creek Cafe, I think. Beautiful area.

hey SSnTkHldr, can you put things into perspective for a n00b on the Comal. Does one go East from there on the river, toward the 'chute'? And does it dead end according to this map, or how does the path work out. I'm arriving a bit later than some friends and I'd like to catch 'em on their 2nd run from around the chute, so thinking if I start at TX Tubes, I should time it just about right... can one just stop at the chute area and wait, or next to the shoreline?

You're looking at roughly an hour from TX tubes to the chute, so if that times it right then go for it. You can also go to Corner tubes and they drop you off right at the chute if you're running behind. Enjoy!
