Does anyone know of a lawn mowing service? I live off of Potranco and Hunt Lane and am having trouble finding someone who cuts lawns. I'm looking for reasonable rates I looked in the yellow pages but they're high priced.

No joke, my husband usually does our lawn and is deployed to Iraq. My lawn mower just broke. And I don't know the area very well. I don't see why you'd think this was a joke.

Perhaps because this is one of the most common, and easily searched for, questions that has been answered numerous times. May want to start here: //www.city-data.com/forum/searc...rchid=12941923 keyword used was: lawn. Maybe try another search for landscaper, landscaping, or landscape, or grass...

However, it does give me an opportunity to tell our CD friends that apparently one of our favorites, JT Landscaping, no longer does lawns. He was supposed to do my neighbor's yard - fertilizer, etc - but when she called to find out why he was a no-show, he explained that he didn't have a crew...
Not sure if this was just since she was a new customer or what.
Too bad, as he was one of the good ones. Hopefully it's all temporary.

Thank you very much for your response, we haven't been in SA long so I'm still learning. I was able to find Alamo lawn & tree they're very reasonable and will be out today to do my lawn.

Actually, JT has turned over the residential lawn business to Mr C Sanchez who is using some of the same staff and equipment that Jimmy used...his commercial business is booming and he had to give up the residential stuff except for the treatments (fertalizing/chemical stuff). You can call Mr Sanchez at 379-1864. He just did my yard to day with one of the guys that use to work for Jimmy and they did the same, excellent service I have received from JT all along.

He will even set you up on his auto scheduling if you like.

Hope this helps.

I handle my own mowing and trimming, but am looking for someone to do some leaf raking and bush trimming/destroying; does that Mr. Sanchez do that? I am also looking into some landscaping like brick flowerbeds and stuff like that. Does he do any of that too?

I am thinking he does, but you should call him and check it out...I am certain that if JT did it (and he use has done the hedges/raking for us) than Mr Sanchez will also. It appears he has taken over that aspect of JT's business kinda turn-key...same equipment/staff.

How was your trip to Paris?? I LOVED the place!
