A homeowner chases some vandals who shot paintballs onto her property with her pickup truck. The vandals, who demonstrated how they "didn't like being chased" by throwing objects at her pickup, eventually crashed into 3 other vehicles at the major intersection of Nacogdoches and O'Connor. Sad. And you can bet the homeowner is going to get jailed as well as pay a hefty fine. Update: So it seems this happened today? I did see the helicopter around that time! Also, I have been jogging around culebra creek park and noticed lots of spent paintballs in the park the past few days.

Why didn't the homeowner just get the description of the vehicle and call the cops? Continuing to follow someone after they started chunking things at her windshield was really, really stupid, too. The worst she had to deal with before was cleaning the paint off her house. Now she has added car damage, but worst of all, that accident being on her conscious. I think there should be some action against the homeowner, but I don't know what the charge would be. Her home was all over the news last night, so if the vandals wanted revenge, they could easily do so.....

I agree, she was dumb to chase them, but I believe it is all a consequence of the initial crime and while she is partly responsible, the ultimate blame falls on the punks who paintballed her house. They get the blame, IMO

I am going to take the other side of the coin on this one.. I think she did what she thought was right and protecting herself from hoodlums.. something most of us will not do.. that is why the criminals win most of the time. It is sad to see that some people got hurt as a result but what she did was noble..

she should've just shot them. They were shooting at her and I'm sure she didn't know it was only a painball gun. I would've given her a pass if I was on the jury and another message would be sent to those that act before thinking..
