I am a big Google Reader advocate and I really enjoy keeping up with what is going on in SATX -- also one of the major reasons I love the San Antonio forum on this website! You guys do a great job at keeping on top of the action.

Here are a few of the blogs or websites that I follow on a daily/weekly basis. Do you have any to add?? I don't mind political blogs but I don't want this thread to turn into a "discussion" about why I should or shouldn't follow a particular blog/site because of their political ideology. I just like to know what's going on in town, regardless!

Sorry if this has already been covered.. feel free to consolidate or delete this thread as necessary.

Deek102, you might enjoy following some of the local media's Twitter feeds with Google Reader. Every Twitter account has an RSS equivalent on the page. Rather than list them again, I'll point you to this recent thread which has a list of feeds from local celebrities and media outlets.

The news on Twitter is a bit rawer and a bit fresher than it would be from the places you listed, so you have to expect that once in a while a story that appears there which sounds interesting will turn out to be untrue or uninteresting.

Thanks Bowie! Might the twitter thread you posted and this thread be considered for 'stickiness'? They're both great resources for locals, visitors, and potential residents. Plus, I want to see them both continue to get populated!

While I agree that both threads are useful resources, we can't sticky them. The administrator limits sticky threads in each forum to 2. The forum's already at that limit, so we can't add any more.
