Sorry to burst some bubbles, but Bill Miller's has expanded outside the containment area and is prevelant in Austin also. You hopes of restraining the contaimination has failed.

I have been traveling outside of Texas and SA specifically enough that I have come to realize the beauty of a good Chicken Fried Steak and how precious it is outside of our geographic area. You can get decent mexican food almost anywhere if you look hard enough. Chicken Fried Steak is much harder to find.

Thus I cast my vote for LULUS! Used to be the Jailhouse Cafe, but has relocated a few times and is now over in the St Mary's street area, near I35, in the incarnation of Lulu's Bakery and Cafe. There is also a Lulu's BBQ, but I haven't been there yet as the CFS lure is just too great when I am in the area.

I second this motion. Lulu's is the bestest CFS ever. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

My wife is sitting next to me and gave me the best suggestion so far. Although, I had two suggestions before, I will say that for a last meal "so to speak" you can't go wrong with "Good Time Charlie's". Oh, and for those of you who know me as SA Greed, I am having password issues since I have left my job. Hope to have it fixed so if you want to rep me, you can rep SA Greed. I will get it. Thanks.

Hello,

The last meal I had before coming to Iraq was ChaCho's fajitas, chips and salsa's, and LOTS of margarita's.

Went to the one on Callaghan then went to the movies at Northwest Theater right around the corner.

I can't wait to come home, been a LOOOONNGG time here in the desert.

MY mouth is WATERING at the thought of that margarita

How is that now. I haven't been since the takeover. I was surprisingly pleased with it in the past (didn't expect much and it was quite decent), but hadn't heard positive things since it was renovated. Alas, I don't bother anyway, because the rotation makes me too nauseas.
