Tried to eat at Dough. 45 minute wait from a surly front desk staff, asking patrons to stand around, as they have no room anywhere to actually sit & wait for an opening table. I ended up leaving. Dough, as good as it may be, is a mess when it comes to customer service and attitude. This is San Antonio, not Manhattan.

My idea of a fun night out is not being crammed into a too-hot pizza joint, sitting shoulder to shoulder with a perfect stranger. No thanks.

El Guacamole - ate there for lunch today. Had the mini taco plate. Mini tacos are on the same style as La Gloria. I had the fajita chicken with cilantro. Delicious! It's a fairly new place and I'm not sure how busy they are but I hope they stick around!!

My family tried eating at the Jims off Potranco last night and won't go back there. We had a nice waitress an older lady but clueless as hell. It took about a good 5+ mins to take our drink orders. The waitress did not seem to know the menu either. So we ordered and sat there for 20+ mins and the food still had not come out so we decided to leave, before we left we did however inform the waitress we were leaving, we offered to pay for our drinks but she said no so we left. It does not take 20+ mins for an Omelette, a kids cheese pizza meal and a chicken special is all I know.

Ate at Thai Corner on Bandera and 1604 next to the Silverado. Bleh. Had the Singapore Noodle and hubby had Garlic Chicken. No on both dishes.
We had a gift card so we were able to eat din din for just $5 out of pocket after the gift card of $25 was redeemed.

This is the one on Potranco near the Chevron gas station right? We ordered some barbacoa tacos one morning to go and they were good.

Not sure about chevron. there is a Texaco/Bigs right near there. There may be a Chevron I just can't picture it in my head. But that's probably it!

Nemo's. It's a new seafood place at Potranco and Loop 1604. They just opened this week. The food was very good! I had the Nemo's Special which includes a few shrimp, two pieces of fish, scallops, oysters and a stuffed crab. $15.99. It was way too much to eat, but I figured since its a new place, I'd have what they consider to be their specialty item. They have a bar, too, which you could easily walk right by without seeing on your first visit. The service was a little shaky, but it's the first week; they'll get that fixed. We'll go back.
