Piranha Sushi - gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Hamachi sushi was quite good. Fresh and tasty. I've had hamachi around town which I'm sure wasn't hamachi. Got the tempura lunch special. Miso soup was good and there was quite a nice portion of tempura - 4 shrimp and veggies. Quite filling and good.

Prices were worth it for what you got.

It's funny how people's opinions, especially of pizza, can be so different. I had a slice there and thought it tasted OK, but the dough was so thin, the cheese and sauce broke right through in a few places. Possibly because they reheated it on a pan instead of on the deck, so it never got crispy on the bottom. I hate it when that happens with a slice. Ruins the whole experience. The place was real clean, though. In fact, there was an employee washing the kitchen walls down while I was there. To me, DiCarlo's is a distant choice behind others in the area: Miss Ellie's, Julian's and Luciano's. Still, if I'm over that way again, I'll give them another shot and request that they put the slice directly on the deck.

I've heard good things about Little Nick's now open over that way.

Went to Franco's pizza and it was ok, pizza was good but the crust was burned. Had some garzongola chips paid $6.95 for about 8 potato chips and an insult slab of some sauce with a small and i mean small portion on cheese. Well not worth the price.
