There's a whole multi-page thread dealing with Del Taco....interesting to get your negative take as a cali-transplant, as I asumed it was homesick cali folks craving this. Guess I'll give it a shot if the get east of IH-10, not driving to AR for a taco.

As a former CA'er too, Del Taco and In and Out aren't something we brag about having. It's cheap food for quick customers. No better than McDonalds and has the same effect (fat).

Genghis Grill at 1604 and 281/Legacy. NEVER AGAIN! The service was terrible and today both my wife and I are sick.

I-10, while officially east/west, takes a turn north out of downtown. So, it looks like \___ running through San Antonio.

Five Guys, 281/1604. Yummy as usual. And now they have the Coke Freestyle machines too. I'm not a huge soda fan, but I love the choices, especially the Dasani flavored carbonated waters.

Weird. I eat there once every other month (or 2) & I get great service. The food is well-prepared for me. I wonder what happened with you guys. Sorry that happened.

Yeah it was during the day at around 3 and it was really dead. Maybe food sitting out like that? The chicken was all thawed and just sitting there at room temp. The guy we had didn't explain anything to us and never came around. We would ask for something and it take forever

The last time I ate at Ghengis Grill on 151 a couple of weeks ago, we had a similar experience. Food was gross and service was non existant
