Had Choke Canyon BBQ, it was good and tasty. The brisket and sausage were perfect, will return for sure.

I was told that Marianito's closed. They used to be located on Bandera, then moved to Westover Hills.

Saturday: Kneader's, Stone Oak. Even dh liked it, and he's usually pretty grumpy about new stuff. Had the french dip, dh had a club with massive chunks of turkey, and dd had an avocado sandwich (she's a vegetarian, and wasn't as impressed with the selection). We even sprang for desserts, and they were pretty good, too.

Sunday: Picked up Smokey Mo's (Stone Oak Parkway/Evan Rd). A notch below Rudy's in our opinion, but awesome anyway, especially now with their creamed corn.

Texas Pride BBQ in Atkins. I like how you can specify the type of beef brisket you want. I ordered mine with marble and end cuts. Will be back for the fish fry on Friday.

I go to Finley's Chick-n-Rib and have never been disapointed. A lot of people don't seem to know this, but Finley's Chick-n-Rib and B&B Smokehouse on the southside are owned by the same guy. Both are great places.

Wow didn't know that, but yes the BBQ was pretty darn good.
