FYI....I ate at B&B Smokehouse today and was informed by the cashier that the owner has sold off Finley's Chick-n-Rib recently so it is now owned by someone else.

Not sure if you know or not they had a groupon, $30 for $15.

Cookhouse- it's at the Carmen's location on Mistletoe. Not sure how much of a do-over they did on the building but menu from Pieter Sypesteyn (of Where Y'at food truck) was quite impressive at dinner. Duck, blackened Drum, Cannoli, all great. Very good service, nice atmosphere. FWIW the lunch menu (mostly po-boys, more value priced) is NOT available at dinner (most entrees in mid 20's).
Not sure what to make of places (Granary is prime example) that offer not just a totally different menu, but change concept from counter service to white tablecloth (with prices to match) come 5PM.

Aldaco's on Stone Oak Parkway. It was okay. I don't know if I would go back, though.

Smokey Mo's on Stone Oak Parkway.

Slightly off night...waited for our food a long time...turns out they had packed it to go. Meats were sliced very thick, almost still in one piece. Maybe a new kitchen person? Anyway, the taste was still great.

Soluna on Broadway

Food was excellent as usual and the service was decent.

I'd recommend the cheese enchiladas.

The cabrito is delicious there, too.

Recently had a great lunch at Midpoint Grill on N. Flores (in the old Green spot). Bunless burger with egg on greens was so very good. Reasonably priced ($6? $7?). Highly recommend.
