Viola's Ventanas off 151. Nothing great about it. Blah Tex-Mex.

I second that. Viola's is nothing like the original La hacienda los barrios to me. Something is missing.

Wu's on Judson. Sorry, but I am going to cut and paste my review posted elsewhere:

First of all the parking is really a pain. I ordered chicken fried rice to go and they were quick and polite. I will be the first to admit that I rate Chinese restaurants on their chicken fried rice. I love the stuff! I bought a quart so I would have enough for more than one meal. I had some for dinner soon as I got home last night. And was underwhelmed. Very little flavor and not much chicken. I didn't want to judge at that point though because I thought well maybe there's more chicken in the bottom of the container. I reheated it for lunch today and found there was a little teeny bit more chicken, but the flavor was still pretty nonexistent. I won't be back.

Went to Pesto's on Judson close to 1604, seems the owner used to be a cook for Paesano's. Great pizza and pastas will be going again very soon.

China Inn off NW Military. The menu for this place is really extensive. Too many options to choose from.

The food was good, service was good. I ordered the orange beef but the lemon chicken on a table next to me looked better and will be trying that next time.

My friend had "Singapore Noodles" which was not on the menu but composed of curry spiced noodles with various seafood (crab, shrimp, etc) mixed in. It was a special listed on the specials board. Also highly recommend as I tried a bite and liked it.

Nama Ramen on Babcock. Just fine for lunch. Not fancy but tasty. Enjoyed it. Nice addition to the NW.

Sick of reading about Chef Abbadoody's latest place in Southtown or the Pearl.

Bigz on 1604 between Stone Oak and Blanco. I was impressed with the gluten free options and had the chicken lettuce wrap. The burgers looked good and the kid's Chicken strips looked so/so. The open area to play was nice.
