Sushihana on Military again. Always good.

Jim's - because it worked for lunch with a group. You get what you get for the price.

PS - general restaurant trend, if you pay with cash - wait staff tries to short you on significant amounts of change. Seen it in fancy and dive places lately. Silly strategy - their overall tip is then diminished.

Not in SA, but if you are ever in Houston, stop by Kenny & Ziggys NY Deli for some REAL NY style deli food! The place is AMAZING, the menu is like a book, and ANY item can be had anytime of the day that they are open so you can have breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast if you so desire!!! Was in Houston this morning and enjoyed their stuffed cabbage roll for breakfast while hubby had their Hungarian Goulash! Both items exceptional!!!!

Panda Inn on Harry Wurzbach: ate there today, but been eating there for years now.
It's a bit of a dive, and they need to replace the chairs, but they consistently have great rice and egg rolls; better than any other chinese restaurant I know of in town.

Every time my family & I go to the Russian Consulate in Houston, we always stop at Kenny & Ziggy's and reminisce about our old days living in New York City. Man, the food is delicious! And my grandma can never finish anything, the portions are Texas-size. I sure as heck do try, though. Delicious!

We went to Grady's BBQ off whetmore and wasn't pleased with food. I actually thought it was the grossest food I've ever tasted. Go at your own will, you've been warned

Went to Rudy's off the i35 , took folks from out of town to try some famous Texas BBQ and I thought this would be the smart choice . nope. Nobody like the food. I'd rather drive up to Austin for Franklin's BBQ then eat here . I thought smokey mo food was better then this place

Wow! The quality at "Wing Daddy's" at Potranco and 1604 has REALLY declined. Ordered the Buffalo Shrimp (10 count) and got what had to be 35-40 count shrimp (Yeppers THAT tiny) for $11. They even charged an extra 69cents for the sauce. NOT like they use to serve at all. These were almost popcorn size shrimp they were so tiny. Oh well, mark that one off the list. Sad, because when they opened just 3-4 yrs ago, the place had rocking wings and buffalo shrimp.

Has anybody tried the Bar B Q at the HEB on Potranco? I usually cook my own Brisket but wouldn't mind buying some from them if it was ok.
