Hi all, my husband and I are flying down to SA this morning to spend the weekend. We would like to go to church Sunday morning. We will be staying in New Braunfels. Can anyone recommend a small Catholic Church in the area??

I don't personally know anything about any of these churches but a quick search came up with these,

St Peter & Paul Church‎ - 386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX‎ - (830) 625-4531‎

St Thomas Catholic Church‎ - 180 Saint Thomas Dr, Canyon Lake, TX‎ - (830) 964-3497‎

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church‎ - 138 W Austin St, New Braunfels, TX‎ - (830) 625-3534‎

You should check them out and see which one you are most comfortable with. Good luck!

Please be aware that New Braunfels is in the midst of dealing with the "swine flu". The entire school district, as well as parks, have been closed. While churches are not closed yet, there have been new recommendations given by the archdiocese (no hand holding during Our Father, no hand shaking during the Sign of Peace and no consumption of the Precious Blood.

Saints Peter and Paul is your only choice. It's been there for 150+ years. But you'll have to do it some other time because of the swine..er..Mexican..er..H1N1 flu.

you can always use masstimes.org that combined with google to verify proximity *when you search by zip code* is the best place we have used when traveling

I know this reply would be too late but I just wanted to clarify in case someone in the future needs to know, besides Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, there is also Holy Family Church on Hidalgo Ave.
