It's very simple.

Rule #1--YOU no longer come first. You're tired? Need a nap? Don't have kids.

Rule #2--when you forget Rule #1, society should get to hang you by your toenails for as long as it takes until you remember Rule #1.

I know it happens everywhere, but man, San Antonio is SHAMEFUL when it comes to innocent babies dying because their parents are just plain out and out stupid. And it's even deadlier when you mix in a stupid bio parent and an evil bf or gf.

Yeap! You can't sleep when you want, party when you want, do the dirty when you want, heck can't even use the bathroom in private anymore. It's the joys of parenthood to a small child and if you can't handle it, don't do it. I'm so tired of reading these stories of stupid people having children.

Actually, your whole post was a little confusing to me. I'm actually a sarcasm expert, both at delivery and detection.

This is soooo true. If only we could make it happen.

Just fyi....it wasn't a pool. It was a small lake. I'm not even sure it belongs to the complex. There are city codes about fencing off pools at apartment complexes. Not sure how you would fence off a whole lake.

The bigger point is the negligence of the mother. She was already in the system according to the article. In other words, she was put on notice and did nothing. This tragedy could have been avoided if she was a human being.
