Has anyone been to the Pearl Brewery lately? I was on Broadway the other day and I saw a sign for a road to get there. I then checked online and found that it has been completely remodeled into a multi-use center near the Riverwalk's north end.

I am glad they didn't tear it down. I have never even been there and lately have wanted to see it.

I'm curious if anyone has been there yet, and what amount of redevelopment has taken place so far.

Check out their site for list of tenants:

Pearl Brewery

By the way it is accessible from the newly extended Museum Reach of the Riverwalk.

There have been a couple of threads about it - it's part of the River North expansion/development, and is the location of the big new farmers market everyone is talking about. There is a lot of info about it in the farmers market thread in particular.

If you really want to find out about the Pearl Brewery I would highly suggest that you go to the Pearl Farmers market tomorrow or any Saturday. There are people there that give free tours of the Pearl complex. Just go to the breeze way of the Full Goods building and ask around as to where the Pearl tours are being started from. They usually set up a card table for sign up purposes. They do two tours on Saturdays I believe one at noon and one at 2 pm. They limit the tours to 25 people so you might want to sign up an hour or so early. The tour takes about 45 minutes to an hour and is very interesting.

I am heading to the farmers market today and then plan to check out the new riverwalk expansion. Does anyone know if the parking is adequate and or free there?

Adequate and free--under the bridge at 281 and walk a block or two to the market. It's a fun way to spend a Saturday morning.....take your doggie!
