Is there a train to take me to Sn Antonio to New York?
How long will it take, and what would be the cost?

Seems like it'll be around 2.5 to 3 days and approx.$450 round trip.

Holy Moly!

I was so interested I had to check it out!

50 hours each way and a total of nearly $800.

Purchased a flight to NYC just the other day, leave SA nearly at 5pm and arrive in NYC around 11pm, $400 for two tickets.

Not sure if you are trying to avoid flying specifically.

I also heard that Southwest started flying to LaGuardia from SA but I remember like 9 hour travel times, no way.

If it's your time to go, well, it's not gonna matter if you're 30,000 feet up or in the middle of eating dinner at Sandbar.
