The suggestions of donating to the Battered Women's Shelter is great. Approx. ten years ago when we moved we gave a Boat Load of quality home items ,furniture, clothes, toys, etc. to the San Antonio Children's Shelter.

It's great to give to those in need. Everytime we get a phone call or something in the mail my wife finds at least a box or two to give away. This is odd since our home is not cluttered and very well organized. It's also nice that they will come and get the articles.

Does anyone know if the battered women's shelter will pick up items if there is a large amount?

I've got a ton of adult & children's clothing I've been trying to yard sale, and it just isn't selling & I want it gone from my garage. The only one I know that will pick up is Medina children's home, and I really hate giving to them since I see how they run their thrift shops.
