My compressor recently went out on me so I'm going to order one online... I just need some recommendations on shops that do good ac work. Like install the compressor, dryer, recharge, and all that good stuff. Thanks people, it's hard driving around with no ac in this weather

Probably, but I really know nothing about the other locations. Reasonable ?? I doubt there is such a thing anymore with EPA's trashing of the trade. All the misleading info on Freons and compatibility with oils and systems.....who knows!! Good luck!

P.S. If you just need the compressor replaced and it's a R-134 system...I'd shop around some regular automotive shops first . Many could do that job and more reasonable probably!!

i went to the carlisle at the blanco rd. location two years ago. straight forward/parts on site/good shop.

yes, prices were same/better than auto-shops.

Only the Hardcore Texans Like me have what It takes to drive with no AC

LOL I only drive my Accord for 10 miles and I nearly loose about 10 pounds of sweat on a daily basis, so Its a good thing.

If you still have Refrigerant* on your system then its going to need evacuation.

Potranco Automotive does a great job with AC.

* Notice how I typed Refrigerant instead of Freon

I park my car right in the sun's path, I leave a frozen 88cent dinner I buy at walmart, and by the time I'm done with my loads, Its ready to eat!
