While talking photos today to post to this forum, a man came up to my car and introduced himself as Ted Ballard. I did not waste any time. I asked where the Park Place location because I told him that it seems small to build a hotel at that location. It's located between Encino Commons and Stone Oak Pkwy, and there a storage next to it.

He confirmed that it'll be Sheraton flying the flags on the new hotel, the aquarium, and he talked highly about the theater. I asked about the 40-lane bowling alley, and he said it'll be under ground. I wish I printed out the list from 210's thread. He said that this place needs entertainment and I told him that I strongly agree.

Good work compadre! So is it going to be on that small strip of land near the apartments?

My guess would be because of the small size of land and with everything planned for said land, to save space it\'s better planning to build it under ground as opposed to a big building taking up surface space, I\'d also guess that there will be under ground parking as well, for the aquarium and indoor venue.

Thanks for all the information HI2. Did he mention where renderings could be found? Also, did you perhaps take any other pictures of other developments?

How is construction going at Park Place? When is the 425-room Sheraton supposed to open? Once opened it will be one of the largest hotels outside of downtown. Also any word on the Emeril Lagasse restaurant?

So any news regarding this project? It was originally announced with a summer 2008 opening.
