How many dentist offices do we need in there? Are they trying to tell the folks living out here something?

I'm thinking a little known place called Jalapeno Joe's has the best salsa. Last time my bunch and I were in there I was embarrassed. Don't know how many times we got refills on salsa and chips but wow!! It's out Moursund Rd. (ext. of Pleasanton rd.) just a couple blks n. of 410. Really great salsa ..not gonna brag on the cuisine. Nicha's over on Roosevelt I notice, uses some Chiltipin in theirs. Not much, too grassy to use much. Who needs maps with pictures??

SoLuna Broadway at Sunset. The house salsa is unbelievable, if you want hotter or spicier ask for their special sauces held back for the "locals".

El Chapparel, Salsalitos, Pericos, pretty much any place that serves chips and salsa is good. I'll even eat them at Chili's

Canyon Cafe

They do a mix of fried Wontons with sugar and cinnamon, a corn chip with a cheese flavor to it, and a regular flavor corn chip. Canyon Cafe is one of the most slept on places here in SA. I never hear anyone mention it but their food is awesome.

I enjoy the green "guac" sauce at Mamacita's (it's sour cream + guacamole)

Is that what it is? Man, that stuff is AMAZING! We just went there a week ago and fell in LOVE with their dips/salsa! I knew it was sour cream, but didn't know if it was guac or cilantro based something else.

I also think Canyon cafe has great chips.

Los Cucos on bitters is good also.
