I'm concerned that it was some kind of chemical insect repellant or poison. Has anyone else seen this truck on their street or know what they are spraying?
Since you know the location, date, and approx. time, call 311 and ask for Vector Control. They can tell you if an insecticide was being sprayed. Vector Control will not spray on private property and I'm not certain if they still drive throughout neighborhoods spraying /fogging the area.

Be sure and let us know.

Wow, it's so strange for me to see threads like this-- the first thing I thought of was, "Mosquito Truck!" Does SA not have the same mosquito problems Houston has? I will be so excited if you don't...

They don't walk onto private property to spray, but they do drive by spraying an area, so private property will get some of it. Usually they target it where there's a bigger mosquito population and/or cases of West Nile, but as far as I know there have not been any this season yet.

Anything less than what we deal with in Houston is a good thing.

Its probably the new Nile Virus terminator machine. They go around spraying antivirus liquid all through town. Its not harmful unless you are a virus.

Do any of you have a Bug Zapper? They work great and the zapping sound is soothing.

Our is always zapping something day and night. I would like to get another one for the front corner of the house to use when the cars are being washed, but only on my watering day of course.

I like them, but there's such an endless supply of insects!! Seems pointless unless in a confined area.

I work for the government and all our of covert spraying programs are done via black helicopters and those large Air Force transport planes you see flying over San Antonio all the time!

But that's a secret so don't tell anyone!
