I guess I should have said. The tree was fine and strong and the trunk itself was far from the house. So any encroaching large branches could have been pruned. Of course I realize that dead tree hanging over the street or over a house or over a driveway or anywhere has to go. Of course. ...

Its not narrow minded to seek enlightenment. Narrow minded is accepting something as true without asking. Im asking....

It's been my experience that Mexicans often "prune" trees by hacking off the limbs and therefore producing a lot of vigorous suckers from the tree stubs. A terrible practice. I've seen dozens and dozens of once beautiful trees ruined this way.

Wow.

Well, the arborist who trims my trees was born in Mexico, and yet somehow he does a beautiful, professional job.

Maybe we could agree that it's "people who don't know any better" who ruin trees with hack jobs.

And, of course, ignorance knows no particular persuasion.
