I will soon be moving to SA, will be working for a facility on Medical Drive Road. Taking this into consideration, I need info on where to live, I am wanting to buy a house max 160K range, good safe neighborhood for kids. I am willing to commute up to an hour. I also need the scoop on where the good public schools are located (elementary/middle); and/or which to avoid.
I am also willing to rent a house if needed.
Thank You for any help.

You might want to look at Woods of Shavano, Park Forest, Castle Hills Forest and Oak Meadow Neighborhoods. The first two are in NISD (nisd.net) and the seconcd two are in NEISD (neisd.net) both of which are excellent school districts. The middle school will vary but the high schools will be Clark in NISD and Churchill in NEISD.

Default Boerne.

About a 35-40 minute straight drive on I-10 with traffic. Great schools, check it out.
