There used to be a taco truck on Zarzamora just north of the Cincinnati intersection. They have/had great tacos!

It's like they make them all water downed. If it's a sit down with like a salsa bar that has red or green salsa, with carrots and jalapenos in vinegar, and grilled yellow peppers that
would be even better. I think I'm going to try that new taco truck on marbach and hunt lane just passed that Napa store. If you have any places you can share I'll appreciate it.

GUAJILLOS near Blanco might be to your taste, they serve interior Mexico food, very good.

Coming from Houston, we have taquerias everywhere. Pastor, everywhere. Surely San Antonio has more than Houston?

I found this--looks good--might have to try it... El Chilaquel Taqueria on W. Commerce

Is there not a Ninfa's in SA? I thought that was state-wide. Best darned fresh corn tortillas...

I'm from los angeles, so I think I know what you are looking for. The closest thing I could find so far is Los Robertos, but it's by the Airport on 281 and Bitters right next to a club called the falls. They are open 24/7, serve shredded beef tacos in a real corn tortilla that is fried and taquitos. Not expensive at all, and they also carry like 6 different Salsa's. It is well worth a visit no matter where you live in SA.

You might want to try Taconazo(it's a taco truck)'s tacos. It's run by husband and wife, who are from Guadalajara, MX. They serve carne Asada tacos, barbacoa tacos, al pastor tacos as well as Tortas---in Jalisco style. You get to pick salsa too. (regular or spicy or green) They're sooooo good that I don't eat tacos anywhere else. The only downside is that they're only open Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday evenings & nights, but it's worth the wait. They park at Culebra meat market's parking lot so it's really easy to find.

Thanks Kabrona, sorry if that didn't sound right. Lol. Definetly I'll try el Taconazo. Last night I went to the one on Marbach, la Salcita, and I tried the carnitas and cabeza tacos hmmm, good. Btw if you tried this taco truck tell them how many tacos you want not how many orders. They don't sell by order like many other taco trucks.
