I know they are clearing the land at Stone Oak and Bulverde for the new high school, but what is going in next to it, between Marshall and Stone Oak?

Claudia Taylor "Lady Bird" Johnson High School

Reagan has been overflowing its capacity pretty much since it opened. Its enrollment has been capped for a couple of years. The many thousands of families who will move in to the PGA Village development (or whatever the current name is) are going to need to send their kids to high school somewhere.

Thought I'd update on the development on Bulverde Road between Stone Oak and Marshall - called Stone Oak Commons.

Drove through it today - about 17 - 20 spots for stores, and the RBFCU stand-alone.
Most of the stores say "for lease" on the windows, but a few said "coming soon".

So far here's what is coming soon:

VIP Nails
Los Encino's Mexican Restaurant
Dickeys BBQ
Kid Space - which is a drop-in childcare place I think?
Mekong Oriental Cuisine
Slater White Cleaners

And then there is space next to this development that advertises pad sites available, but construction has not started there yet.

Anyway, just an update for those interested in what is going in at Stone Oak Commons!

3 restaurants! That is great news, we need more restaurants in this area.

Looking at the list, they looks like artery cloggers.

I much rather have a small grocery store or deli.

Not much of a bargain with Dicley's BBQ, the worst bbq ever serve and very pricey. I wish a New Orleans style restaurant and a German restaurant would come in
