Advertisements

I mute it on all of the automobile ads...they are so loud, fast talking and annoying!

And yes, I hate that commercial along with ALL their other commercials. Lawyers like this are what's wrong with our legal system but that's a whole different story.
If these lawyers are so good at what they do why do they even have to advertise?

Any Ancira ad makes my skin crawl... As Ernesto Ancira makes my skin crawl.

The wife is clearly the least annoying of the clan. The daughter is BY FAR the most annoying with acting skills that rival a corpse. It also annoys me that she constantly has to cram her kid, who looks like he's in dire need of a hairbrush, in every commercial. Finally, the nerdy husband seem to be making is way into the the act these days.

The Anciras edge out the singing Cavender dork as the worst local car ads.

Car ads, lawyers, loans, and mattresses - those are obnoxious and loud. And then the constant repetition...

Well said (and funny too)

I think with Ancira, it's knowing a few too many of his personal details and proclivities that makes me dislike seeing him in my home on television. He's really an ugly individual, in a variety of ways.

Having to sit through Cavender's poor excuse for a garage band in order to sell his cars is also mildly annoying. He thinks that if you film in front of Gruene Hall, it automatically gives you the gravitas of, say, Willie Nelson... Newsflash: It doesn't.

agreed with car ads but that one where the redneck guy was shooting out the windshields of cars with too high of a down payment was pretty funny.

What annoys you about Ancira? I for one don't like his right wing politics and his running away from the Mexican-American community.

Cannot stand Ancira ads. I could care less about his politics and hope to God this thread doesn't get sucked into that. I just hate his ads.

Cannot stand "Gillman Guy" ads.

Do not understand the RedMcCombs' "Texas Legend" ads. Who is that guy? Is he supposed to be a "Texas Legend"? Have no idea who he is yet he acts like the world should know. WTH?

Totally agree. I'm still trying to figure out if Rick Cavender is poking fun at himself or if he really thinks he has musical talent?
